Base Batches is a program that helps builders take their idea, turn it into a product, and kickstart their business.
Base Batches this year will feature two dedicated tracks:
Startup Track
For existing teams with live products who are ready to take the next step. Teams will complete an application and accepted teams will earn a spot to present live at Demo Day from Devconnect
Builder Track
For pre-product teams who are just getting started. Participants will join a global hackathon and up to 100 teams will be admitted into Incubase, gain access to virtual mentorship, receive feedback on their products, and get the support they need to launch their first version of their product.

Startup Track
The start-up track is designed to support early stage teams take their business to the next level and take center stage to present to a live audience of VC, angels, and accelerators live from Devconnect. Teams will complete an application form - and - will be notified if accepted into Demo Day by October 24th. The top 40 teams from the cohort will be invited by Base to two incredible unique opportunities to take their businesses to the next level:
- Each team will earn a space inside Base’s booth at the Ethereum World Fair
- Take center stage, and present to a live audience at La Rural inside Devconnect for Demo Day
The Demo Day audience will be a curated group of angel investors, VCs, and accelerators from across the industry - and after presentation both teams and attendees will be brought together to connect.

Builder Track
The builder track is designed for individuals, and teams who are just getting started building out their product. The builder track includes an application and a 4-week virtual buildathon where teams build the alpha version of their product. The applications, due on Oct 10th, will be reviewed by the team to provide builders with feedback on how to improve their products before the end of the buildathon. Accepted teams will be announced live on stage at Devconnect and will be admitted into our Incubase program which will provide the following:
- Dedicated Advisor: Each team will be appointed a dedicated advisor from the Base Growth team
- Virtual Mentorship Portal Access: book 1:1 virtual sessions from a roster of industry veterans and experts from across specialities
- Resource Credits: get credits to support your efforts to build and grow including ad credits, development resources, and audit support
- Network School Access: a select number of top Incubase teams will be invited to join the Network School
- $500k in Prizes: Each admitted team will earn a prize
In addition - Incubase teams will be eligible for Base Batches 003 Demo Day which will be hosted next year.
